What is your video style?

Romantic and Cinematographic - Style

Capturing intimate moments between our couples and their families, throughout the wedding, it is something that we take very seriously. We are all about the details, storytelling is what makes us unique and Natural light is our best friend, we love creating “high drama scenes” using lighting techniques and working with shadows and colors.

We're always looking for clean compositions, our goal is to present every part of the day in its natural form turning a conventional wedding day into a luxury wedding Film.

Are you available to travel to shoot our wedding?

Absolutely!  We're willing to travel anywhere for Weddings and Event Films within USA.

How long does it take to receive the final Videos and/or Photos?

The turnaround time for our Cinematic Highlights and Doc Edits is 5 months - 6 months, and within 3 months for engagements and/or Pre Wedding Films/Love Story Films, however, a big portion of our material is actually delivered within 3-4months when we have the availability for it.

For Teaser Films, the delivery date is within the next two to three weeks after the wedding events. We also have a Next Day teaser delivery option available upon request, for an additional cost.

We do offer Feature Films, usually anywhere from 15 to 20 min, This is the best option if you are looking to have one Video that show off the entire Event in a Cinematic Style. It will be like a long Highlights Film which means you will be able to enjoy more content from your Events in a Romantic, dramatic and Cinematic style. Let us know if you want to watch some of our previous edits, happy to share those with you

What is a Documentary Edit Film?

If you want to watch some of the events in full such as ceremony, speeches etc, this is a great option for you to have.

Depending on the length of your choice, we may be able to fit in everything we captured from all the events, If you are looking to have each event in its entirely from beginning to end, the best option for you would be an individually documentary edit for each event which is usually anywhere from 45-60min long available upon request as well.

Do you use commercial music (Popular songs, famous singers, Bollywood Music etc)

No, we cannot use copyrighted music in a wedding video.

Short answer: because it’s the right (and legal) thing to do! Copyright law exists for a very good reason. It protects the intellectual rights of the original recording artist of the wedding music. We do not use any popular songs, Indian music etc due to copyright law regulations. Music changes everything, if you decide to choose the music and after providing us with license for it, we're okay utilizing your music, however, it is like you're editing the video on your own, music is more than 50% of the editing process, and by using a different style of music, your film won't look the same as our previous films, so we won't be responsible if the video looks different than the ones on our portfolio, and we won't make any changes after delivering the video to you.

What happens if you upload a wedding film that contains unlicensed music?

Some videographers (only a minority) take a chance by including unlicensed music tracks in their wedding videos. They might do this because they think a particular song will work very well with the footage that they have filmed.

They also think that they’ll get away with this practice. However, they may be surprised to learn that popular video platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo have sophisticated algorithms that automatically detect music that may be subject to copyright protection.

The algorithms work by scanning the video file after it has uploaded and it attempts to match the audio to a large database of licensed music. If a match is found, the video is flagged and you’ll receive a notification that licensed music has been detected.

Do you use any Microphones?

Almost nothing worse can happen than you not being able to hear clearly and professionally as you exchange your vows during the ceremony in your Wedding Film or read your letters to each other. We provide our own Professional wireless Handheld Microphone setup for Ceremony and Speeches. we've found that this is the best way to guarantee you the best audio quality for your Film. we highly recommend our clients to use our Microphone during ceremony and speeches so we can control the way we record the audio. we recommend our clients to communicate this to the DJ and/or Band in advance so they allow us to connect our system into their sound board.

Do you offer DVDs and/or Blu-ray?

We do not. We deliver our Films digitally and/or USB format.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are. We can provide you with a liability insurance certificate for your Venue upon request. We're also Drone Pilot certified by the FAA with the Part 107 that allows us legally operate Drones on permitted areas all over USA.

Do you ask for a Deposit?. When will the balance be due?

Yes, we do, at singing at the contract, 50% retainer fee is required to secure your date. the remaining balance is due a month prior the wedding date, we do not receive monies after the events, all balances must be paid off before any of the events.

Can we have the Retainer/Deposit Back if somethings comes up?.

As far as refunding a retainer, unfortunately, this is something that we are not able to do. Retainer fee's are non refundable mainly because: This is to secure your spot on our calendar, business expenses, deposit ensure we answer all questions throughout the year related to your event, timeline revising, pay deposit to our staff (Photographer and Assistants) ahead of time to be booked on your date, Schedule setup for your date etc.

Video and Photography production is not a one-man team, however, Retainer fees are transferable to other dates, in the event that you need to reschedule your wedding, your Deposit would be transferred to the new date and can be used for up to 1 year after your formal event cancellation.

If PSW is not able to cover your event for any reason beyond our control, we will refund 100% of the deposit.

Do you have Photo and Video Packages?

Yes, we do have Photo and Video packages upon request only.

Second Photographer

We recommend a second photographer for larger events, over 300 people, specially to be able to cover specific moments throughout the day, such as groom getting ready when bride and groom are on separate locations, full cocktail hour and some other details throughout the day, even tho, one photographer will be able to cover the majority of your events, having an extra photographer will give you a lot of more content from the wedding.

CAN I GIVE YOU A "MUST-TAKE" LIST OF PHOTOS?

We don't mind having a list, but usually, we don't work from a list that couples found on a website or in a magazine, we insist on having the freedom to capture your day as it happens, rather than being limited by a specific list. Shooting a live event where everything happens real quick, having a list will make it even tougher, we will request the majority of the details before the wedding day, this form will give us all of the important details about your wedding, including which family members are important to photograph etc. Other than the family formals list, we prefer to capture real moments as they happen instead of creating them by following a list. Keep in mind that we will most likely shoot all those images anyway as they happen organically.

Do you retouch all the images in my online gallery?

We edit all the images you receive in your online gallery. By “editing” what we mean is that we color-correct, crop and deliver a finished photograph in our style, all material will be the same as you see on our portfolio, not special retouching is done in our editing since we try to get the best image in camera on the day of. Additional retouching like removing blemishes, skin softening and removing objects in images requires additional time and skill. We do offer this as an optional service and for an additional cost through a third party retouching company, specially for photos that are gonna be on album and if need any kinda of retouching.

DO YOU TAKE "TABLE SHOTS"?

We don’t do “table shots” for a very good reason… As a rule, guests feel very pressured and awkward in these situations. If you would like “table shot” photographs, we recommend that you visit the tables at your wedding, and have your guests pose with you. They are always more receptive to the couple than a photographer alone. It gives a far better result, this is something that needs to be planed and requested in advance.

I'M HAVING AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY / RECEPTION. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Be mindful of your surroundings. Don’t position yourselves so that you will be “staring into the sun” during your vows. It’s uncomfortable, and you won’t get as many good pictures. Additionally, check your venue in advance for prime photo spots.

Check the sunset times for your wedding day. Although sunset allows for creative and beautiful photos; don’t run late. Sunset waits for no bride.

Always have a backup plan, in case of inclement weather.

Have you shot at my venue before?

We have shot at hundreds of venues, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!
